In celebration of their 200th issue, Design et al have changed The International Design & Architecture Awards 2022. This year, the awards will recognise all parties involved in a shortlisted project, from the designer and architect through to the developer, associated companies and all the suppliers.

The suppliers who work with interior designers often miss out on the recognition they deserve for their contribution to projects. We are delighted that Design et al have given us that opportunity with this year’s International Design & Architecture Awards.

The design awards covers luxury homes around the world, city spaces, beach properties, hotels and restaurants across 21 categories with a broad mix of architecture and design that will appeal to everyone working in the sector.

Matthews Rea were asked to design and install the interior décor for two three-bedroom apartments within this unique new development in Kensington. Taking inspiration from the modern architectural detailing, the designers worked with a natural, textured, and warm palette. The overall result gives the spaces a welcoming, elegant but contemporary feel.

As the Design Awards entry states, “Clean lines and beautiful vistas from one room to another belie the amount of careful attention to detail required for this type of modern living. It’s all about understated comfort and luxury, carefully considered and designed for modern living.”
