Practicality, aesthetics and functionality play a big part in our design process. We always want to ensure our furniture and spaces enhance life and have longevity.

6-step approach

How we work with you

Our team is on hand to guide clients through our six-step design process. Starting with the initial ideas and brief, we work through each stage ensuring every aspect of the brief is covered maintaining quality communication with the client. We continually strive to offer an impeccable service and a memorable buying experience.

In collaboration with our client, we develop a design brief for each project whether it is a one-off piece or high multiples of bespoke furniture for a large-scale residential or commercial property. Initial product details and important requirements such as timings, budget and aesthetics are confirmed.

Initial design ideas and concepts are developed by our design team according to the client brief. Costs are gathered and estimates confirmed internally. All are presented in a face-to-face meeting with the client.

Our installation team visits the property where the furniture will be finally be located. Access routes, widths of entryways, ceiling heights and stairways are measured and taken back to the technical design team, to confirm if the furniture can be built in one piece in our factory or built in pieces and assembled on site.

Design concepts are refined into fully detailed drawings and digital renders of each design. The technical design team develop and test prototypes, custom finishes are tested, and the final design is reviewed and agreed with the client.

Once a deposit has been received, each piece is then hand made in our purpose-built factory in Esher. Our manufacturing team includes skilled joinery, metalwork and finishing teams as well as a full upholstery department that creates all our upholstered furniture, custom made scatter cushions and throws.

Our attention to detail continues through our process right up to final installation, even for one-off pieces. Some larger furniture, such as sofas, banquettes and ceiling height headboards, are often made in sections and assembled on site by our installation team. Fitted and built-in furniture is installed by our cabinet makers.
