The Garden Folly room at WOW!house by Studio Enass is open and features bespoke furniture, upholstery and wallpanels crafted by Origins Design.
Enass Mahmoud of Studio Enass was asked to design the Garden Folly room at WOW!house and she asked Origins Design to create bespoke furniture for the space. Designed as a retreat from the noise of the outside world, Enass has filled the Garden Folly with rich texture, layered pattern and deep jewel-like colours. Every surface and item is finely detailed and decorated, influenced by Enass’ North and Eastern African heritage. The rich colour scheme includes reds, greens, teals, creams and gold. Intricate detailing and textured materials contribute to the atmosphere and each piece we crafted for the Garden Folly is richly detailed.
Bespoke banquette seating
Bespoke banquette seating with integrated side tables form a large L-shape around one corner of the Garden Folly. Our upholstery team crafted the seating to fit onto bases that have been finished with beautiful stone tiles by Ca’ Pietra, adding further depth and material richness to the space. Using GP & J Baker fabric in a deep red, each bench seat is furnished with bolster cushions and bespoke cushions, crafted and sewn by our team.
Bespoke occasional table
The circular occasional table sits at the centre of the bench and occasional seating in the Garden Folly. On a stained oak pedestal base, we upholstered the tabletop in a rich green leather with a flat grain and added a highly decorative trim from Samuel & Sons to the edge.
Bespoke swivel occasional chairs
In addition to the bench seating, Enass wanted occasional seating that would allow visitors to sit and relax whilst looking at all the details. We made a pair of occasional swivel chairs upholstered in a red velvet and a marbled fabric that combines all the colourways in Enass’ design scheme. Both fabrics are by GP & J Baker. The fluid swivel motion will allow visitors to turn and look at all the detail and decoration to be found in the Garden Folly.
Handcrafted wall panels
Enass chose a textured silk fabric for a series of wall panels. Our team made the wall panels by hand and installed them in-between hanging wall lights by Gladee Lighting that pick up the luxurious thread of the silk when lit. They continue the layered theme and create a rich combination with the deep red Phillip Jeffries wallpaper behind.
From shimmering silk wallcoverings and plush velvet upholstery to shell mosaics, passementerie and sculptural lighting, every surface in the Graden Folly invites a closer look. Watch Enass’ reel to hear her thoughts about the Garden Folly room and her ideas for the space.
Turning an interior designer’s concepts into physical pieces of furniture is a process we are skilled at. Our team can work with very rough concepts and develop these into full technical drawings. With Enass, she had very clear dimensions, shapes, functions and aesthetics in mind.

Built within the Design Avenue at Chelsea Harbour, WOW!house is a one-of-a-kind showhouse stretching for a full 600sqm. There are 23 full-size rooms and outdoor spaces to see, each uniquely designed by world-class interior designers, working in collaboration with globally recognised design brands and suppliers like us at Origins Design.
The WOW!house is open between from the 2nd June to 2nd July 2026, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm and is held at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, SW10 0XE. You can book tickets for the WOW!house here.
