Interior design and property staging firm Decoroom Ltd asked us to help craft statement furniture for this super prime London property in Regent’s Park that was being launched to market.
Housed in a Regency Crescent designed by British architect John Nash, this apartment has been meticulously renovated and turned into a stunning contemporary space. Every piece of furniture we designed and made had to reflect the high quality and stature of the property.

The large living space is square in shape and needed substantial bespoke sofas to help break up the space. We started by designing statement sofas in a modern curved shape to echo the curved high ceilings.
However, as access into the Regent’s Park apartment was limited, the size of sofas required meant we had to design the sofas to be made in parts and assembled on site.
To avoid the sofas looking like modular sofas, they were designed and built in such a way that the clean lines of the design were retained and the mechanism that joined the two large sections was completely hidden.
The deeply curved seat backs are bolted to the semicircular seat sections, leaving the shape to flow cleanly. None of the internal structure, fixings or the frame are visible in the final design.
We crafted a matching ottoman with the same oversized, bubble shape. Both the ottoman and sofas have dark stained timber feet, designed to be barely noticeable and add to the overall bubble effect.
Our upholstery team expertly upholstered the oversized bespoke sofa and matching ottoman in a soft white fabric with a subtle pile.
Along one wall of the living room, Decoroom asked for a slim table that would sit behind one of the sofas. We designed and made a relatively low console table in a pale stained oak that would allow maximum space for artworks above and be at the perfect height for additional lighting.
To give the appearance of a floating console table top, we added two thin powder coated metal supports underneath.
Decoroom asked us to manufacture custom headboards for both bedrooms – something we are very skilled at.
In the large bedroom, we crafted a bespoke headboard in three sections, upholstered in a chevron pattern. For the two side panels, we rotated the chevron fabric to run vertically to accentuate the width of the headboard design. We also integrated control panels for the state of the art lighting and intelligent home controls, as well as power and charging sockets.
Our upholstery team created scatter cushions for both bedrooms to match the headboards.
In the smaller bedroom of the Regent’s Park apartment, we crafted a tall headboard upholstered in a brushed wool felt with a border edge in a complimentary wool.
As the space was limited in this room, Decoroom asked us to design bedside tables that would allow the built-in wardrobe doors to open beside the bed.
Our joinery team created two small triangular bedside tables with white lacquer tops and black powder coated metal bases that left enough space for full access to the wardrobes.
We are particularly proud of being able to craft furniture for our client in unusual shapes and sizes that reflect the high quality fit-out of these apartments and their state of the art joinery and carpentry.
