Interior Fox were tasked by their clients to create a relaxed modern aesthetic with traditional features in this London SW10 apartment.
We helped the Interior Fox team create the interiors and style they had envisaged by crafting bespoke and one-of-a-kind custom furniture throughout the property.

Spread across two floors, this traditional Chelsea SW10 apartment required full renovation and modernisation.
Interior Fox worked alongside their builders Parragon Properties Builders for months to ensure every inch was updated and finished to their exacting standards.
As their client wanted the interiors to reflect their love of travel, Interior Fox incorporated interesting textiles and bold prints alongside modern detailing.
One floor of the apartment features a glass conservatory for dining and entertaining, and an adjoining outside balcony.
In the dining space, we crafted a 2.4m-long dining bench with eight timber legs shaped and stained to match the dining table. Our upholstery team covered the dining bench in “Zanzibar” fabric by Penny Morrison in a ‘Tobacco’ colourway as selected by Interior Fox.

For the bedrooms, we worked with Interior Fox on bespoke stools for the dressing tables. Their circular upholstered pouffe shape sits on a dark lacquered circular base. Low curved seat backs give comfort and add a mid-century modern style.
The stool in the master bedroom was upholstered in a Schumacher fabric called “Rubia Embroidery” in Blush, and the stool in the guest bedroom in a Fermoie fabric called “Quantock 016”.
Interior Fox asked us to create a central footstool which would have a multi-functional purpose in the main living space of the Chelsea apartment. Our joinery and upholstery teams worked together to craft an oversized footstool at the same seat height as the sofa and armchairs. The combination of the large dimensions and a structured padding and filling, means trays and books can be placed on the footstool whilst it is being used as a foot rest.
We added bobbin legs as suggested by Interior Fox in a dark stained oak as a nod to the traditional period of the property. The footstool was upholstered in a sage green and cream Tori Murphy fabric chosen by Interior Fox.
When asked about the project, the Interior Fox team said “One of our favourite elements of this project in Park Walk, Chelsea is the custom furniture we had made with Origins Design. It’s important for us to create one-of-kind pieces for our clients and we so enjoy sourcing unique fabrics to use. Origins Design did a great job helping to create custom pieces of furniture throughout using our selected fabrics and suggested details.“
